Terms of Service

Effective May 26, 2026

Rules for using WorldTree.tv that protect the community, limit our liability where law allows, and preserve your rights to leave and delete your account.

This document is provided for transparency. It is not legal advice. Material rights may vary by jurisdiction.

Agreement

By creating an account or using WorldTree.tv, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these Terms. Material changes require your acceptance before continued use.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract.

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.

Community standards

WorldTree.tv is a shared space. You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, dox, or discriminate against others.
  • Share illegal content or content that infringes others’ intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security, scrape at scale, or abuse automation.
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Use the service for spam, fraud, or malware distribution.

Moderation and enforcement

Room owners, moderators, and WorldTree staff may remove content, mute, kick, ban, or restrict accounts to protect the community.

We may act without prior notice where necessary to address abuse, legal risk, or security threats.

Enforcement decisions are not guaranteed to be neutral arbiters of disputes between users; our priority is the safety and integrity of the platform as a whole.

Your content and licence

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant WorldTree a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, transmit, and reproduce your content solely to operate and improve the service.

That licence ends when your content is deleted, except for reasonable backup retention and anonymized room history as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights to share content you submit.

Third-party media and links

Videos and streams may originate from third-party platforms (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo). Your use of that media remains subject to those platforms’ terms.

We do not control third-party sites or services linked from chat or rooms.

Service availability

We provide WorldTree.tv on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WorldTree disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions (including certain Canadian provincial consumer laws) do not allow exclusion of implied warranties; in those cases, disclaimers apply only to the maximum extent permitted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WorldTree and its operators, volunteers, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the service will not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (typically zero for free accounts).

Where consumer protection law in your province or state prohibits such limits (for example certain statutory rights in Québec or California), those limits apply only to the extent allowed.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WorldTree from claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the community.

Sections that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) survive termination.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your province or state requires otherwise.

For users in Canada, you benefit from mandatory protections under the laws of your province of residence when those laws cannot be contracted away.

Before filing a formal claim, contact us at WorldTreeTVandFM@gmail.com to attempt informal resolution. Where arbitration or class-action waivers are not enforceable in your jurisdiction, those restrictions do not apply to you.
